It depends on a 32-bit environment (djgpp...) and that some sort of communication medium is available (serial, lan, tcp/ip). It works rather well under MSDOS, but I haven't found a useable (unix-like) tcp/ip library for use under DOS. I tried the sample program (pktdrvr.c) and it works just fine (except that it uses a low level interface, and not 'socket()', 'bind()', 'accept()', etc that I need). Anyway, my questions are: 1) is there a tcp/ip library for dos that provides a unix networking interface, and (if not): 2) where would I find enough documentation to write functions to emulate the functionality that I need. -- Zach Heilig (heilig AT cs DOT und DOT nodak DOT edu) == (heilig AT agassiz DOT cas DOT und DOT nodak DOT edu)
