Made those changes, updated the zip, and it should be posted on my site by the time you read this. I also deleted the hookmem system from the zip and make, so hopefully all is now ready. The whole system seems to be quite compact. Stripped, malloc is about 3k, and malldbg about 2.4k. I added a test for the INT_MAX size allocation rejection.
