FWIW, I always use my true address, and never had any special problems with spam. Yes, I do get circa 10-20 spam messages per day (out of about 250), but it takes precisely 1 second to recognize spam and press that DELETE button. IMHO, people who play tricks with their addresses make the living harder for their good-willing fellas much more than they harm spam-senders.
