Might just say stubify has been enhanced to support > this, but GCC build procedures do not yet use it. It seemed to be some temporary problem. Currently GCC-3.3 prerelease CVS version builds with 512K stack (perhaps one time it was more "stack hungry"). Anyway it was already a second time, when for some package it was needed to increase stack size (first was running tests of one of earlier versions of GSL, where I needed >1.5Mb). So I think possibility to set stack size will be OK. It's only necessary to provide some option for GCC to support it (it's easy as only specs should ne modified) Andris
