Guerrero > The problem was that bash builting read was broken when input file was in DOS text file format. The patch uses binary format for input and discards found CRs. The problem appeared as libtool failure when building libstdc++-v3 of gcc-4.3.0. Both patched bash-2.0.5b and bash-2.0.4 worked OK. Hint: try reading several text lines using bash builtin read from DOS style text file. Andris PS. Strange but now failed to reproduce the problem.
