I was wondering what config.sh and Policy.SH you used, to build the binaries of Perl 5.6.1. I'd like to do an updated release, to fix the inconsistency in the handling of environment variable names (sometimes case-sensitive, other times not). (I've CC'd djgpp-workers, so that the files get archived for posterity.) I reported the problem originally in a message on 16th October 2002 entitled "RESEND: Problems with handling of %ENV in Perl": "The DJGPP port of perl seems to captilise all environment variable names. Unfortunately all accesses to the environment via %ENV are not treated the same way." I included a fix with that message. Bye, Rich =] -- Richard Dawe [ http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/ ]
