I'd hate to see gcc 2.95. go as it seems to work better than 3. (like detecting undeclared variables and not overly stupid warnings). Plus we need it to recompile 2.03 updates, don't we? While we're on the subject: is there any way to get really old v2gnu releases that has been removed from simtel.net? Perhaps DJ has them archived or something? Right now I'm interested in the oldest gcc and all binutils (only a certain unbroken version but I don't know which one). Right, MartinS
