[snip] I've just got back from a month-long business trip. Once things are back in order, I will look at this bug. In the meantime: I don't have Windows XP. It would help if you could run symify on the backtrace that rm gives you on aborting. If you build Fileutils 4.1 from sources, you should get binaries with debugging symbols included & symify will work. (I strip the debugging info, when I make binary packages.)
