As usual, I don't remember the details, only that the _DJGPP suffix was gratuitously limiting the area of applicability of that setting. IIRC, it had something to do with the fact that the _DJGPP part designates the OS for which that setting is applicable, and this particular setting is not limited to DJGPP. Perhaps Andris could explain more.
