The unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 / XP site url is http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main.htm (a full status report is available online for the 2.04 code and is updated on a ad-hoc basis). The main html page then has two options, the 2.03 refresh page or the 2.04 wip page. The following is the main change in 2.04 that are included since the last report: 1) Includes CVS LIBC changes up to 8-Jun-2002 with some WIP GCC 3.1 patches. 2) GCC 3.1 now available. No G77 due to build problem with G77. 3) GDB 5.2 beta is now available. 4) Bash 2.05 from 4-Apr-2002 with patch now available 5) Gzip 1.3.2 alpha now available 6) Gawk 3.1.1 now available 6) Make 3.7.9.2 alpha now available Please note that the CVS LIBC code is working and was used twice in order to build all the packages and then to re-build them to ensure that there were no nasites in the WIP patches. These patches have been sent out in the djgpp_workers list over the past two weeks. I would expect that another CVS LIBC update would be available in a week or two. If you are not aware of what is available at the the unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 / XP site please read then following blurb: The site contains allot of info which is designed to help developers get the DJGPP compiler and associated packages working on Windows 2000 and XP as quickly as possible so that they can help the out. The site also contains a number of work in progress binary files for use on Windows 2000 and XP (and Win 9x). The info and files at the site allow DJGPP developers and users to get the DJGPP compiler working under Windows 2000 and XP very quickly, it still requires you to download the packages from Simtel. The site is accessible from DJ's site by clicking on the "Current DJGPP status vs Windows 2000 / XP (unofficial)" link under the Introduction section. Regards, Andrew
