The unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 site url is http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main.htm. A full status report of where I am up to is available online and is updated on a ad-hoc basis. This weeks two major milestones achieved in my opinion were: 1) That the DPMI leak issue should now be resolved for both Win 2K/XP and Win 9x thanks to Charles and Andris. 2) It is now possible to rebuild the majority of DJGPP and associated packages on Win 2K is using last weekends updated WIP binary files available from unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 site Other milestones acheived: 1) A WIP version of patch is now available that works on Win 2K. Please report any crashes or issues with this as the patch included to get this working is NOT fully tested and could introduce more bugs than it solves. If you are not aware of what is available at the the unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 site please read then following blurb: The site contains allot of info which is designed to help developers get the DJGPP compiler and associated packages working on Windows 2000 and XP as quickly as possible so that they can help the out. The site also contains a number of work in progress binary files for use on Windows 2000 and XP (and Win 9x for crazy developers who want to test for backward compatibility issues) . The info and files at the site should allow DJGPP developers and users to get the DJGPP compiler working under Windows 2000 and XP very quickly, it still requires you to download the packages from Simtel. The site is accessible from DJ's site by clicking on the "Current DJGPP status vs Windows 2000 (unofficial)" link under the Introduction section. NOTE: The binary files available from the unofficial DJGPP Windows 2000 site still have known issues with them so be aware! The binary files available for download are WIP (work in progress) and usually get updated after some bugs are fixed. Andrew
