I downloaded the updated Bash source, dup2.c changes and then CVS tarball
from 19-Aug-2001 and applied the patches for Win2K and the dup2.c update.
When I tried to make Bash some of the files could not be compiled as they
were trying to reference sgtty.h which I could not find anywhere. I then
reverted to the old termios files from the 29-July-2001 CVS tarball as
indicated below and then I could build Bash after I re-configured Bash.
    include\sys\ioctl.h
    include\libc\ttyprvt.h
    src\libc\compat\ioctl\ioctl.c
    src\libc\posix\termios\tminit.c
    src\libc\posix\termios\tmread.c
    src\libc\posix\termios\tmwrite.c
    src\libc\posix\termios\ttyscrn.c

I just finished re-configuring Bash twice without any hangs on Win98. The
changes did not help with the Bash crashes on Win 2K. I will look into it
over the next few days to see if I can see where the problem is after I look
at an issue with STDIN. This may take me a few days so I may not be able to
get back to you until later this week
