If I am correct the open.c patch is in the open_not_commited.dif file at http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/win2000_patches . This is the change I have been using for a while. I updated the patches last night on the web. Check out the other patches, including the commited_patches sub directory to see if you have all of the patches applied to the LIBC src. Andrew
