I thought I > > was going crazy. The sample works fine on Win 98. It might be that handles opened with LFN APIs don't work also - might try setting lfn=n to see if that helps. If I get a chance I'll try some of the things Eli suggested. Right now I've got a To Do list to create based on the email storm :-)
