Personally, I don't mind that, provided that the DJGPP linker scripts in the Binutils distribution are actively maintained, and if they are always included in bnuNNNb.zip. Note that the directory name you suggest is IIRC not where Binutils installs the linker scripts. If we don't want the directory Binutils uses, someone should submit a change to the maintainers in order to force "make install" do what we want.
