I do not have enough DOS knowledge to comment intelligently, so unless
someone say otherwise,  I will apply the patch for config.bat.

Oops! I do not have a Win/Dos machine, would not have never catch this,
thank you.  I should probably take this opportunity to clear the "#if" vs
"#ifdef" inconsitencies.

You did not provide a ChangeLog entry for your patch so I'll assume that
the "From:" header field contain the right info for the THANKS and
ChangeLog files.
