I've investigated the problem futher: bash 2.04 binaries from your site work OK; bash 2.04 recompiled here w/o symlink with latest DJGPP CVS has the problem. So I suspect the problem is with DJGPP. Did you try to build bash with latest djdev from CVS? Laurynas
