I'm using QEMM with CWSDPMI from day one, and I never, ever had any problems with that combination. And I mean _never_. Not once. Now, I don't know what is QEMM 9, my version is 8.03 and I stopped updating it after that. Perhaps QEMM 9, if such a beast indeed exists, introduced some incompatibility, in which case it's something to look into. I used all versions of QEMM from 6.x without any significant problems. > I did not find any reference about such a problem in the FAQ, That's because nobody reported them until now. Note that using QDPMI, at least with versions of QEMM up to 8.x, is not a good idea: it uses about 100KB of conventional memory for each DPMI client, even if it is nested, so you run out of DOS memory in recursive Make's. That is why I only use QDPMI for testing (it is loaded at boot time, but disabled, and I enable it with a command-line utility).
