I don't know when is the crash produced, I know is on exit (the destructors unhook the mouse) and I also know that I never experimented this problem when polling the mouse. So is something with the mouse. And here a note. In the past I used only DOS 6.22 and I saw the computer die on exit, most probably related to the ^C hook.
