This version works for floppies, FAT16 partitions and networked drives on 
Windows 95, and NTFS partition on NT.  It still returns 16 for an NFS 
drive on NT; perhaps you need to check for a remote drive as well.

I will check on DOS and RAM/CDROM drives later.
