The porting shouldn't be hard, -: but isn't trivial, either. The usual nuisance with DOS drive-letter -: brain-damage in file names, and the colon/semi-colon problem in PATH are -: the gotchas. But there were others, I forget the details. Didn't someone (Eli, perhaps?) recently post a longish message that included a mini-HowTo on porting GNU packages to DJGPP? I haven't found this posting yet in the archives, but searching isn't as fast as it was ;). jtw
