Hello,

when I was trying to build GDB and noticed 
configure's inability to deal with DJGPP's 
absolute path's, I didn't know the real
cause of problem (not the greatest knowledge
of autoconf, automake, shell & perl scripts...)
Now I see that automake is unable to handle
absolute paths with forward slashes too. I 
tried to fix it (patch below), but I still
don't know if it's a cause of my previous 
problem.

I should have this patch sent to the maintainers of
GNU Automake, but please review it - as I said 
above, I know little about shell and even  less 
about perl scripts.
