Now I have "upgraded" to win95B and the emacs build process freezes right where 'make' invokes './temacs --batch -l loadup dump'. At that point it does not respond to SIGINT (ctrl-c/break) and requires the dos box to be closed. However, that command line can be run from a raw 'command.com' prompt with no problem. Also, it freezes if run from a command.com that was spawned from within emacs (i.e., suspend-emacs). I am working on finding the location of the freeze (it is somewhere within temacs (after main :) )- it doesn't freeze within make). P.S. It's possible that my windows installation is bad. Anybody able to build emacs under win95b? Samir Barjoud samir AT mindspring DOT com
