I've uploaded a new test version (built 1999-02-10) of Bash 2.02.1 to:

This version fixes enough bugs so that I've been able to use it to build 
the GNU file utilities (fil316s.zip) and the latest weekly binutils 
snapshot (which required the rebuilt ln.exe). And with the binutils 
snapshot, I was able to confirm that the EOL-style mixing problem is 
fixed.
