Given the volume of people getting lfn/sfn installations wrong, I'd
like to rethink the idea I had before about open() automatically
checking both lfn and sfn (default one first, then the other) when
asked to open files for reading.  This would at least avoid a number
of installation problems and give new users a better experience with
djgpp.  I don't recommend this trick for writing to files, just for
reading.
