And of it course it turns out that the .ps files are from the texi2ps 
program, not from dvips. I ran dvips, I didn't give an output file so it 
didn't overwrite the ones made by texi2ps. The version of acnf213d.zip I 
uploaded a few minutes ago to DJ's incoming has the 'bad' version, 
but the .ps output by dvips will be in the final version.
