I would suggest trying to move towards usung the new one, since it does not print out the 'library not used since no linking done' message you get currenty. That would mean that libg++.a became libgpp.a, and that before this, people thought that gxx was g++, but now we release a real port of g++, and call it gpp. Plus, people would have to choose between gpp and gxx. Too confusing.
