I'm not a C++ user myself.  The change to djgpp.env is just to copy
the [gcc] section to a [gxx] section.  The gotcha would appear to be 
that some install packages (grx I think), modify djgpp.env to include new
lib search paths and they probably aren't aware of the [gxx] section.
