It reads well, though it got a bit long for me, but then, I'm tired and I want to go home:) The analogy with the violin maker was good, but I felt it may have been a tad long. I thought the number of references to Quake were amusing, and I liked the mis-quote about Quake being built in a day. I always find a mild sense of humor makes a document easier to read. I would say that the length of the violinist section is my only critisism, and the "Orientation FAQ" should definitly become a part of the standard DJGPP documentation. Now, how to get the newbies to read it? That's always the hardest part. I guess it needs a much more eye chatcing name. "msorf" wouldn't stick out enough, IMHO. Great work!
