Looks very good for me. I would check only the versions for some packages to be up to date (Example: RHIDE 1.1 is really old and no longer available with sources). But that's only a cosmetic change. One thing I would add, is to mention that the user should download (and install) also v2misc/csdpmi3b.zip for basic C development and not only for running its own produced executables. BTW: In general I would also say that it is better to move csdpmi??.zip from v2misc/ to v2/ Because I'm not a beginner, I cannot say how good they understand it, but I think the main problem is still that they should read it.
