Thanks to Mark Habersack's help and a marathon debugging session, I finally managed to fix that stupid problem in the CPU detection code. If anyone has any problems with it now, please tell me. Also, I noticed that I had failed to update some parts of the documentation and some of the input and output routines in DJVERIFY, so I took the opportunity to make these corrections. This will be the last update release of DJVERIFY for a while, as I think I am now ready to tackle the next major additions. To-do's for 0.4a include implementing the package installation verification feature, and putting everything in nice pretty colored windows. :) If everything goes well, I'll be ready to move to beta soon afterwards. From 'djverify.doc': ---=== VERSION CHANGES ===--- Version 0.33 alpha: - Uses the new CPU code from Mark Habersack; hopefully this code doesn't crash. - Miscellaneous improvements in output formatting and command-line parsing. All input functions now use conio. *Bugfixes* - Finally discovered the crash bug in the CPU detection code. It should now work properly on all systems. -- John M.
