I would appreciate it if people would try it out on as many different machines as possible, to see under what circumstances the CPU code crashes. If anybody has a solution, that would be even better. :) From "djverify.doc": ---=== VERSION CHANGES ===--- Version 0.32 alpha: *Known bugs* - The CPU detection code inexplicably crashes on certain 486 CPUs. If you can figure out where the bug is, I'd gladly accept your help; otherwise work is in progress on new CPU code. *Bugfixes* - Fixed a NULL pointer bug in pathname() that was triggered if any DJGPP files weren't detected. - Added a define to the makefile to eliminate use of the buggy CPU code, so the other DJVERIFY features can be reliably tested. - Certain correct installations erroneously triggered the DIAG_BADPROGS error, specifically those that did not have an old 'go32.exe'. Hopefully, this feature is working now, but to hedge my bets, I changed the error to a warning. Please report any further erroneous behavior. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
