Its a one line fix I determined from examination - I think a "dec di" 
before the label no_path: would fix the problem; the problem is that PATH= 
(null string) prematurely terminates the environment scan and messes up the 
position of the file name.  I don't have the time to test it right now
so if some would verify this it would help.
