I think the way LFN is handled in Win95 depends on how the file is created. If it's creately under Win95, whatever caseing you specify, it will give the same casing for the LFN. I just use edit to create this file under the Win95 DOS box. ALKSDJ~1 11 08-13-96 5:16p alksdjSDFds But, if the file was created by something that doesn't handle LFN. The default LFN is ALL UPPER case. The uppercasing thing which the explorer display, it only affects the display. For example, a DOS file name ABCDE, with the LFN ABCDE, when you use explorer to see it, it will appear as Abcde, even though it's stored as ABCDE. I think using a utility to go through the directory to change LFN to lower case is a good idea...
