Subject: internationalisation


The subject of internationalisation and code pages popped
up recently.

We concluded that the character sets used by FSF (i.e.,
Latin1) were different from the PC's.

So far so bad, but couldn't a few runs with recode handle
that?  (Recode knows about code page 437 but no more, I
think.)
