The command-line options are deliberately very similar to those of GNU gzip, but they are not identical. There are 3 archives (date: 2000-05-30): ftp://ftp.simtel.NET/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/bz2-100b.zip ftp://ftp.simtel.NET/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/bz2-100d.zip ftp://ftp.simtel.NET/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/bz2-100s.zip which are available from the DJGPP distribution at Simtel.NET and mirror sites in the v2apps directory. For information about bzip2 see: http://sourceware.cygnus.com/bzip2/ Install the archive(s) like any other DJGPP package described in the DJGPP FAQ, which means, copy them to any location on your HD, let's say to c:/tmp, change to your root DJGPP directory, let's say to c:/djgpp, and unzip there the archive preserving the directory structure. After that PLEASE READ the file: readme.dos which will be located then in the directory contrib/bzip2-1.00/ which will describe more details. Regards Guerrero, Juan Manuel
