Note that at the moment this requires long filenames (it needs the ,v suffix for its repository files), although it'll probably compile under plain DOS. I'll fix this if and when I find the time. v2gnu/gtxt031[sb].zip Gettext 0.10.31 A port of the GNU gettext library. This has been patched for DOS in two important ways: 1) the LOCALE_ALIAS_PATH uses ';' instead of ':' as path separator. 2) the (GNU)LOCALEDIR and LOCALE_ALIAS_PATH are no longer hardcoded: they will be determined at startup from environment variables (failing that, they will fall back on the paths that were compiled in). This means that programs using this library will be able to find their message catalogs on just about any DJGPP system, without requiring the user to create a specific directory to hold them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tim "Zastai" Van Holder 2nd Year Computer Science (again) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- When all other methods of communication fail, try words. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
