Version 0.3 hanles some special cases pointed by Eli. I will bee grateful if somebody can check SCOPY on w98. SCOPY is a copy utility who takes care of short file names too on W9x. His main purpose is to serve to migrate your hard disk (using W9x) to a new big one using this simple procedure: 1- Install the new drive like slave. 2- Partition and fomat it. 3- copy all the files to the new drive. 4- put the new drive like master 5- boot with floppy and do fdisk /mbr 6- It must work! But there are a problem, if you use xcopy or explorer on step 3 some short file names arn't the same, and some programs don't work. Using "scopy c:\ d:\" (in W9x) all must work, because SCOPY takes care of long file names and short file names while copying. I put the sources under the GPL license. You can get te sources at http://teleline.terra.es/personal/malfer/zipfiles/scopy03s.zip and the binaries at http://teleline.terra.es/personal/malfer/zipfiles/scopy03b.zip Greetings, M.Alvarez
