Now I want to use some Latex packages that contain long file names, and thought the easiest solution would be to install a LFN driver. Have tried DOSLFN and LFNDOS, and in both cases Emacs fails to run, with no error message. Initially I thought it was because of memory, but this does not seem to be the case. Now I suspect it has to do with INT 21H, of which I know very little. Is there some solution to this problem? A work-around short of changing all the file names manually? /Tomas
