Running some of of executables under GDB seems to work much better rather than for first release of GCC-4.8.2 for DJGPP. backtrace command mostly works (with the first release it mostly did not work properly) Problem: I have not tested details, but it seems that slow DJGPP v2.04 free() causes major slowdown of tests. There were same problem for DJGPP port of GCC but nmalloc is being used there instead of DJGPP v2.04 own already for a long time. Andris
