The original WSS library comes from MAME emulator that is propably
GPL, there was made some updates by Khusraw and me and we agree to be
GPL.

Allegro is obsolete - no better sound support than legacy SB. It would
be nice if you use WSS or AC'97/HDA part for your Hexen II engine :)
