Try "cp /etc/dosemu/dosemu.conf ~/.dosemurc" and edit that manually (if necessary). > LOWRAM mmap: Das Argument ist ungültig (argument is invalid) > Speicherzugriffsfehler (memory access error) > > I am awre that a lot of users have reported about this failure on > other linux distributions mailing list.  Because I am not to much > interested in dosemu and I have real dos/freedos mashines available > I did not care to much about this particular issue. I understand. And yeah, it's common. I think (?) it has to do with address space randomization. So you'd have to do something like this: su -c 'sysctl -w vm.mmap_min_addr=0 (or edit /etc/ sysctl.conf) > I have tried also dosbox and it works as long as the application > does not change the video mode.  As soon as the video mode > is changed the application still works well until it finishes.  As > soon as the old mode shall be restored dosbox freezes and > must be killed.  Of course, dosbox is also installed from SUSE's > online software repository. It shouldn't do that, obviously, but I don't have the app you're referring to for comparison. Well, I'm not a huge gamer, and I'm so disorganized that I never have the same files anywhere (my bad). So I don't have any good tests. Oh yeah, I forgot, both (DOSEMU and DOSBox) load up Gautier's 3D (Ada) engine just fine! So try that (though admittedly I recompiled for Ada 4.6.0 since 4.5.3 didn't work): http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=6sz87q&s=7
