Is there a variable I can use to disable that? I've been using ncurses with a program I'm writing, and I can get the color support to work fine in Vista's NTVDM, using the djgpp terminfo entry, but in pure FreeDOS or MS-DOS, it crashes. I'd like to see if it's the termios library that's causing the problem. Using a monochrome terminfo setting works fine in both Vista and pure DOS. Also, why would it work in Vista and not in pure DOS?? Fall is my favorite season in Los Angeles, watching the birds change color and fall from the trees. David Letterman (1947 - ) See ya
