No more really alpha, but it seems to be stuck in beta forever (I hope however that it is not so). In any case as far as I remember, my tests were with 2.04pre. There were some packages which did not build at all when 2.03 was used, but I don't remember exactly which ones. Also I have not succeeded to get development environment under Linux working well enough (Dosemu-1.4.0 + FreeDOS-1.0). At least when I try to configure GCC for building, GNU sed misbehaves and writes 2 GB size Makefile. Another way could be to try FreeDOS under VmWare Server, but I don't know when I'll do it. Andris
