Edit boot.ini, you have it display the OS choices with a timed menu, then boot the default OS - or stay in the menu until you choose. I find it is easiest to install DOS first on the primary FAT partion, then Windows, typically on a different, typically NTFS, partion. The Windows install will set up the boot manager.
