Have I to use a previous > version of gcc to compile the last ? The installed version does not matter, if it is in reasonable range (any version from last years should be OK). Perhaps some binary package is missing. If You run djbuild.sh, then log files is created. You may be able to figure out what the problem is from log file. I'm not completely sure that the list of required packages in readme file is accurate (I did not build GCC-4.1.2 in fresh installation).
