Everything that is in /beta has been compiled with djdev204 and is intended to be used with Win2000/XP, etc. Of course it can be used on plain DOS too. The directory tree is called /beta because djdev204 is suposed to be beta. The ports of corse are not beta. If you work with Win XP etc. the binaries from /beta should be your choice. Netherless djdev203 is still the official library release. This is the reason why I distibute every port twice. One time compiled with djdev203 and stored in /current (good enough for MSDOS and Win98) and a second time compiled with the new but not finished djdev204 (with features required for Win XP etc.) Regards, Juan M.
