To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Hi! Has anyone had any success using Zinc 4.5 or wxWindows with DJGPP compiled applications? I built the Zinc 'zinc.lib' with DJGPP, and linked it to one of the GUI Zinc "Hello, World" examples. When I run it (on XP and Dos 6.22), I get a "Program too bit to fit in memory error". The app is 2MB total, and I have run 4MB DJGPP apps - so I don't think I am really running out of memory. I have seen that people are using scitechs wxMGL to run wxWindows on DOS, and have read that it *should* work with DJGPP - but I have not seen that it works for certain. Does it? Also, if I want to use wxWidgets with DJGPP, do I *have* to use wxMGL? I have a large app that already cross-compiles using Zinc for DOS and wxWidgets for Linux/Windows. I would like use DJGPP instead of my old Borland compiler, and am trying to determine if I should pursue using ZINC or wxWidgets for the GUI. Any suggestions? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
