Yes, the application programs such as COMPRESS etc., located in \DJGPP\BIN directory give the same error message. > > > F:\f2c\DJGPP\BIN>f2c > > Stack Fault at eip=21fe > > eax=00000301 ebx=000063b4 ecx=00000000 edx=0000ffff esi=000003aa > edi=0000acc7> ebp=0000ff9c esp=00076b1c cs=19f ds=17f es=17f fs=0 > gs=0 ss=1b7 cr2=00006fda > > Call frame traceback EIPs: > > 0x000021fe 0x21fe > > 0xffbc0001 0xffbc0001 > > This message comes from CWSDPMI, the DPMI server used only on plain > DOS and other systems that don't already have a DPMI server built into > them. Can you please describe your machine--what OS and version you > have installed, what files you downloaded from the DJGPP site, etc.? I have used the program previously on Windows 95,98, ME and presently I am running 2000 Version 5.00 on a P3. The DJGPP I use has been downloaded longtime back. It was working fine till May this year(after working fine on Windows 2000 for 3 years). I use a f2c program in conjuction with the gcc compiler. I generate simple fortran programs for image processing. The image libraries are in C. So use f2c along with gcc with the tiff image libraries in C. Thank you very much, Please let me know if you need any additional information. Sincerely, Kasyap
