(in Tools->Set Compiler menu). What should I do to make >it work with DJ? It defaults to building with makefiles and standard utilities. I've just set up HOME and SHELL environment variables besides DJGPP. Depends on what you expect from "making it work": you can customize vim to work like an IDE if you want with custom key mappings and the base hooks: see ":help quickfix" or ":help compiler-plugin". I just type ":!gcc -c %" to compile current file and ":make" to build projects. Typing ":cwin", ":copen", ":cl", or ":cl!" lists the errors and ":cn" shows the next one. I use the GUI version gvim in nocompat mode with few .vimrc tweaks. -- Thanks.
